 BIOENERGETIC TESTING SYSTEM
The Qest4 is an Electrodermal Screening Device (EDS) which measures body electricity of your energy meridians/pathways as well the strengths or weakness throughout your body’s systems and organs. There are 45 miles of nerves in the human body with the brain as the communication center. Most of the processes in the body are carried out through impulses via the nervous system. The body is always moving energy resulting in frequency oscillations and organized waveforms. The collection of all the body’s oscillations patterns or vibrational fingerprints can be analyzed to determine imbalances, deficiencies and other dysfunctional patterns. This is known as BioEnergetic Testing and it is a sophisticated tool to help identify functional disturbances even before they have advanced to more diseased states. The Qest4 testing capability is one of sensitive, reliable and a high level of accuracy. It’s a wonderful tool to help find answers to very complex health issues and this analysis in conjunction with nutritional, supplemental and lifestyle changes can be instrumental in creating a path to deep seated wellness and a vibrant life.

MOLD TOXINS  TESTING
Mycotoxins are some of the most prevalent toxins in the environment. Mycotoxins are metabolites produced by fungi like mold, which can infest buildings, vehicles, and foodstuffs. A majority of mycotoxin exposures are through food ingestion or airborne exposure.  Fungi are able to grow on almost any surface, especially if the environment is warm and wet. Inner wall materials of buildings, wall paper, fiber glass insulation, ceiling tiles, and gypsum support are all good surfaces for fungi to colonize. These fungi then release mycotoxins into the environment causing symptoms of many different chronic diseases. With the MycoTOX Profile, we can identify mycotoxin exposures and make recommendations for detoxification treatments that have been effective. The MycoTOX Profile screens for 11 different mycotoxins, from 40 species of mold, in one urine sample. It is the most comprehensive test available.
Nutritional & Metabolic Profile
The Organic Acids Test (OAT) offers a comprehensive metabolic snapshot of a patient’s overall health with 76 markers. It provides an accurate evaluation of intestinal yeast and bacteria. Abnormally high levels of these microorganisms can cause or worsen behavior disorders, hyperactivity, movement disorders, fatigue and immune function. Many people with chronic illnesses and neurological disorders often excrete several abnormal organic acids in their urine. The cause of these high levels could include oral antibiotic use, high sugar diets, immune deficiencies, acquired infections, as well as genetic factors. The Organic Acids Test also includes markers for vitamin and mineral levels, oxidative stress, neurotransmitter levels, and is the only OAT to include markers for oxalates, which are highly correlated with many chronic illnesses.
FOOD INTOERANCES or SENSITIVITIES
IgG Food Allergy Test + Candida
By measuring IgG antibodies specific to antigenic food proteins, it is possible to identify which foods may be responsible for hard-to-define symptoms. Foods that cause an IgG response are known as delayed hypersensitivities and the results can be used to develop an elimination or rotation diet.
The 93 foods tested in the IgG Food Allergy Test w/ Candida include representatives of major food groups common in the western diet. Candida problems are thought to be caused when the benign yeast form of Candida albicans or other Candida species mutates to its fungal form. Candida can overgrow portions of the intestinal mucosa, causing numerous symptoms. Candida species can take over areas of the intestinal wall causing numerous symptoms. If allowed to grow out of balance, the toxins produced by Candida can create minute holes in the intestinal lining, leading to “leaky gut” syndrome. When Candida or its byproducts enter the blood, Candida contributes to a chronic inflammatory immune system response (CIRS). A wide range of disorders have been linked to Candida.

(Blood Spot) A convenient, in-home test that measures 95 or 190 (combo) food antigens is also available for children or those who prefer convenience and/or dislike blood draws.
Environmental Chemicals
Every day, we are exposed to hundreds of toxic chemicals through products like pharmaceuticals, pesticides, packaged foods, household products, and environmental pollution. As we have become more exposed to chemical-laden products and to toxic chemicals in food, air, and water, we have been confronted with an accelerating rate of chronic illnesses like cancer, heart disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, chemical sensitivity, autism spectrum disorders, ADD/AD(H)D, autoimmune disorders, Parkinson’s disease, and Alzheimer’s disease. The GPL-TOX, is a toxic non-metal chemical profile that screens for the presence of 173 different toxic chemicals including organophosphate pesticides, phthalates, benzene, xylene, vinyl chloride, pyrethroid insecticides, acrylamide, perchlorate, diphenyl phosphate, ethylene oxide, acrylonitrile, and more. This profile also includes Tiglylglycine (TG), a marker for mitochondrial disorders resulting from mutations of mitochondrial DNA. These mutations can be caused by exposure to toxic chemicals, infections, inflammation, and nutritional deficiencies.
GLYPHOSATE TEST
Glyphosate is the world’s most widely produced herbicide and is the primary toxic chemical in Roundup™, as well as in many other herbicides. Usage of glyphosate has since amplified, after the introduction of genetically modified (GMO) glyphosate-resistant crops that can grow well in the presence of this chemical in soil. In addition, toxicity of the surfactant commonly mixed with glyphosate, polyoxyethyleneamine (POEA), is greater than the toxicity of glyphosate alone.  Recent studies have discovered glyphosate exposure to be a cause of many chronic health problems. It can enter the body by direct absorption through the skin, by eating foods treated with glyphosate, or by drinking water contaminated with glyphosate. It has teratogenic, tumorigenic and hepatorenal effects that can be explained by endocrine disruption and oxidative stress, causing metabolic alterations, depending on dose and exposure time. The World Health Organization International Agency for Research on Cancer published a summary in March 2015 that classified glyphosate as a probable carcinogen in humans.
TOXIC METALS and VOLATILE SOLVENTS

The Toxic Element Clearance Profile offers an advanced, comprehensive assessment of toxic and potentially toxic elements excreted in the urine. In addition to measuring classic elemental toxins, this profile includes elements used in medical, aerospace, nuclear, and high-tech electronic industries. Use of these potential toxins is increasing because of their growing commercial, industrial, and medical applications The Volatile Solvents Profile can help identify a patient’s prolonged exposure to the most commonly found volatile solvents that have been shown to cause serious health problems. Each year, the annual production of these solvents numbers in the tens of billions of pounds in the United States. For those living and working in urban areas, the exposure to this class of compounds goes on twenty-four hours a day. Overexposure or chronic exposure to volatile solvents damages the central nervous system and causes chemical-driven liver and kidney damage. Benzene, in particular, has a severe toxic effect and is a recognized human carcinogen. Other solvents contribute to atrophy of skeletal muscles, loss of coordination, vision problems, and depression of the central nervous system. Solvents are very damaging to bone marrow and have been associated with many of the bone marrow cancers. They are also associated with immune disorders, including autoimmunity, chronic neurologic problems, and infertility.
BRAIN CHEMICALS TESTING and REBALANCING
Neurotransmitters are the brain’s chemical messengers providing communication with the body’s glands, organs and muscles. The function of neurotransmitters in the brain has a profound impact on overall health. An imbalance of neurotransmitters has been linked to a myriad of symptoms and conditions.

HORMONE TESTING and RESTORATION

Saliva, blood spot and dried urine are used for the minimally-invasive hormone testing.  These hormone tests are used because of their simplicity of sample collection and stability. Areas of concern tested include: Adrenal and Thyroid Imbalance, Iodine Deficiency, Pre-diabetes, Cardiovascular and Inflammatory Markers and Vitamin D status. Specialty profiles specific to particular health conditions are also available and include: Sleep Balance, Weight Management, Skin Vitality and Fertility Profile.
GENOMIC TESTING and METHYLATION PATHWAY ANALYSIS
Methylation is a chemical reaction that occurs in every cell and tissue in the body. Methylation affects enzymes, hormones and even genes and plays vital roles in detoxification, hormone and neurotransmitter synthesis and utilization and much more. Genetic testing enables one to minimize the risk by: Identifying gene mutations that may promote chronic disease, preventing disease through early intervention, modifying gene expression through more precise, targeted, individualized interventions, identifying key areas for follow-up testing and monitoring therapeutic effectiveness of intervention strategies with laboratory testing.  Using your 23andMe or Ancestry data, I can identify common genetic variations known as Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs) that are clinically relevant and nutritionally actionable. The unique platform I utilize, allows me to TEST, TRANSLATE and TARGET SNPs with the right nutritional support, with precision and confidence in the pursuit of your optimal health.
DNA/OXIDATIVE STRESS MARKERS
The AntiOxidant Test is a test used to qualitatively assess the activity and potential damage caused by free radicals in the body. Free Radicals are toxic substances produced in the body every day during the human cell’s normal function. Free radicals are responsible for the onset and progression of many diseases and chronic conditions. Early identification of oxidative stress is key.
